Wikum, presentation

I participated in several of the Collective Intelligence for Democracy workshops over the years at Medialab Prado. In 2018 I had the chance to collaborate and then present Wikum, a tool developed by Amy X Zhang that seeks to facilitate summaries in discussion forums. The main idea is, for example, when a participatory budget is discussed in a citizen participation forum, perhaps the number of people who can get involved will grow due to the accessibility that these summaries would provide.

If you value the wonderful world of the internet, I recommend Amy's thesis. Based on tools like Wikum, she makes proposals to improve the quality of content, with a participatory curatorship.
