Cyborgs

It made me think of Donna Haraway and her A Cyborg Manifesto. There she proposes that we are no longer “pure” or entirely natural human beings: we are cyborgs—hybrid entities formed by the biological and the technological. From vaccines and prosthetics to digital devices and scientific knowledge, our bodies and ways of life are deeply shaped by technology. Haraway doesn’t present this as a threat, but as an opportunity to question the boundaries between human, machine, animal, and system, and to imagine new forms of existence beyond the hierarchies imposed by gender, species, or nature.
